In fact, some studies show that using mobile devices while driving is equivalent to driving impaired, as it causes many avoidable accidents every year. Now, Honda is gearing up to combat this issue with its #PhoneDownEyesUp campaign.
The #PhoneDownEyesUp movement is sweeping social media, as Honda aims to cut down on one of the biggest causes of distracted driving in this day and age. Honda has released a series of short videos detailing all the activities you cannot do properly while texting. Including humorous videos of someone failing to make pancakes, give a child a haircut, and even work out with a friend, Honda sends a clear message: If you can't do these tasks while texting, you can't drive a car while texting.
