The all-new Honda Clarity Electric and Honda Clarity Plug-in Hybrid models will make their global debut at this year's New York International Auto Show, joining the 2017 Honda Clarity Fuel Cell in making the Clarity the first vehicle family to offer customers multiple electrified vehicle options, featuring battery electric, plug-in hybrid and fuel cell powertrains.

Honda has announced that the company intends for two-thirds of its global auto sales to come from electrified vehicles by the year 2030, and the Clarity series is proof of the company's commitment to this aim. All three vehicles in the series feature an aerodynamic body, dynamic handling and electric drive torque and acceleration, along with unique design elements.

The Clarity Plug-in Hybrid pairs all-electric driving with a gasoline-hybrid extended range mode, while the Clarity Electric offers an affordable, midsize five-passenger battery electric option.
